It's Sunday night again, and Kel's going to start his weekly groans and moans for the week ahead...

Kel's back running again, although only 10km this time... Running with girls is like steroids; my last 5km only took me 20 minutes! With practically no prior training before this too! This is dangerous drugs!!

Kel's back into reflective emo mood on the cloudy, rainy Sunday... Do you wish to be the kite, or the sampan?

Yet another week's gone. Or I'd say, another weekend has arrived! Shitty Kelvin cannot continue like this, living for the weekends... Anyways... Kel's second ever friend's wedding dinner came and went, and Kel really did enjoy this one. Great company, great laughs, great music (what else, Fish's songs on a Fish fan's wedding)... The weather on Sunday was fantastic! Great blue skies, great sunshine! Brilliant weather to satisfy my itchy shutter fingers... yup! And also to give old Kel some sunning-time, to store up some sunshine in his skin, to last yet another bloody week to come... The more I watch 败犬女王, the more I am inspired and tempted, to leave my job and everything behind, and go, with camera in hand and bicycle underneath, leaving everything behind...~

A repeat customer. Or at least what we thought. He flew in and settled onto the cushion my mum was hugging, while watching TV. Looks exactly like the one which sat on my bedroom lamp on Chinese New Year night this year. This one really made itself comfy on the cushion. My mum was touching him, circling her finger around him, and he just sat there really calmly. Almost just as if he's just another member of us, joining in for TV. ~

It's the weekend again... it's been a long tiring week. And I have "homework" to pass to my boss tomorrow... very frustrating... that pretty much took up most of my brain juice and enthusiasm to enjoy my weekend... haiz... luckily this doesn't happen every weekend...

I just find it so therapeutic to be alone in the jungle, in the cool fresh morning, without anyone near me, being able to hear the birds, the crickets and the cicadas, the plop and splash of fish and turtles, the buzzing of bees, the rustle of leaves... I was alone, but I was never alone~

Me, myself, and I.

Curled up underneath the shelter of layers, and layers, until it has grown strong, and ready, to face the perils of the greater world...~

After of week of being busy doing things, and sometimes busy rushing about but achieving nothing, I made it to the weekend and Labour Day. Went with my mum, my aunt and two young cousins to the zoo. Until I got stung twice by some black and shiny insect right at the entrance. And that made me feel quite sick for the rest of the day. Shitty luck. It didn't help that the weather felt so exceptionally hot and humid, and the huge holiday crowd made it worse... But I did feel that the zoo's staff and service was pretty good, I would even say definitely world-class. And I really appreciate the zoo's effort to pass messages of animal and environmental conservation to the kids. This is one zoo I'd be proud of.
