Temple and Durian

A rainy afternoon at Sembawang Cai Shen Temple, so nice so colourful~

People are like durians; some of us are born D24, some of us Johor, some Thai, some are picked from a forest in Mandai. Some are dry meat, some are wet and soggy. Some are yellow meat, some are pale and unripe. Some are sweet, some are bitter. Some have huge seeds, some have tiny ones. Some are rotten on one side, and great on the other. But all the magic happens only inside the torny shell, must open then can know. Some customers like bitter yellow meat. Some like sweet meat. Some only swear by D24 because of its fame. Most people leave it to the durian seller to pick their durians, only to blame it on luck when some of the durians aren't as good as they seemed at the stall... Cherish your durians~
